Do I need any experience before signing up?

None whatsoever. The course starts from absolute zero — bar setup, proper pouring, glassware, spirit knowledge, and cocktail builds. By day four you'll be executing a full final assessment with concept, build, and presentation.

Will I actually be able to get a bartending job after this?

That's the goal — and it happens regularly. Students graduate with skills they can use immediately at restaurants, bars, and private events. Several have landed paying gigs through J. Martini's staffing network before the course even ends.

What's included in the tuition?

All tools, all ingredients, all spirits used during practice, and guided instruction across all four days. Graduates also gain access to J. Martini's paid event staffing opportunities — which is where most students land their first gig.

Why do you use real alcohol instead of water?

Because the feel, weight, and behavior of real spirits is genuinely different — and that difference matters behind a real bar. You can't develop real instinct with fake practice. It's also, frankly, more fun.
